Be warned. I'm emotional. The realization hit me last night that I wouldn't have many more opportunities to just call my brother when I wanted to. I called him had to tell him how much I loved him. I meant to keep it casual & free of emotion...
No dice.
This morning I received a message from him saying he loved me and that I was the best sister and his best friend. BRING ON THE WATERWORKS. Has it stopped? NO!
Anyway...this post was merely for journaling purposes...carry on.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I was lucky enough to be 7 years old when my brother left on his mission. Hope the next few days (or years) are okay for you.
I love sweet Ryan! You're not bad either.
So sorry...he'll be back before you know it!
Sorry, dear lady! You are good sister. You'll make it yet!!
You two seem very close. I know you probably don't want to hear "it will get easier", but it really will. You will still miss him a ton and will probably still have your moments where you shed a tear....or 20, because you miss him so much. Just let your mind fast forward and think what a sweet reunion it will be in two years!!
Put your jokester skills to the test to pass the time, and come up with something amazing for his homecoming like you did for his mission call (that was hillarious by the way)!
Said in my favorite Ellie voice, "Enough, enough!"
Just come play with us tomorrow already lady!!!!!!
I'm glad you decided to post this!!
...maybe you'll get lucky and he'll come home early like my bro...I'm just saying.
Seriously, its amazing how much the Lord will carry you and bless you and your fam because of Ryan's service. You just watch...even through his departure.
R.I.P Pre Mission Ryan
